Emerge Kentucky reportedly ousts founder
Kathy Groob from executive director job

One of the founders of Emerge Kentucky, an organization formed to prepare Democratic women for a political career, has been ousted as its executive director.

A Kentucky political blog, Page One Kentucky, says Kathy Groob was relieved from the top job in early January, just about a year after becoming its executive director.

The question being asked is, "How can the founder of an organization get fired (if that is what really happened)?"

Groob remains onboard as a "staffer" while the organization comtemplates its next move. The headquarters for the organization was based at Groob's office in Covington KY and it's assumed that it will be moving elsewhere as time goes by.
